Bookstore
Stop by the conference bookstore in the Main Street Expo. Managed by Too Fond of Books — an independent bookstore located in the capital of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma in Tahlequah — browse titles across dozens of genres, from Main Street-related non-fiction to good reads for leisure time.
Founded in 2021, Too Fond of Books specializes in indigenous literature and local authors in all genres. Their sister store, Still Fond & More, sells used and rare books and games; Joe’s Bookcase, their fiscally sponsored nonprofit, works to increase functional, cultural, and critical literacy in Tahlequah and the surrounding communities by placing bookcases in places where books are often not found and by giving away books to parents, schools, and correctional facilities.
