Jonathan Stone serves as a Program Officer for Revitalization Services. He is responsible for delivering and expanding the reach of our technical assistance and consulting services to our network of Coordinating Programs, communities, and other partners across the country.
Jonathan has 20 years of experience in design and diverse place-based community revitalization, the last 10 years in nonprofit management. From 2013 – 2019, he served as the Executive Director for Downtown Oregon City Association (DOCA), a 2018 Great American Main Street Award (GAMSA) winner. In 2016, Jonathan was recognized by the Oregon Main Street Coordinating Program as the Main Street Manager of the Year.
Most recently, Jonathan served as the Executive Director at Creative Flagstaff (CF), the city’s lead art, science, and culture agency. He is active in his community and region as a founding board member for the Willamette Falls Trust – one of the West’s most important natural resources and indigenous sacred sites – and as a board member for the Northern Arizona Pride Association and the City of Flagstaff’s Tourism Commission.

Jonathan is skilled at strategic development of programs, partnerships, and technology implementation. His life journey also includes experience in retail business ownership, design, architecture, and construction administration. Jonathan has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science, both from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
