Many Main Street programs are interested in launching or amplifying diversity and inclusion efforts. To undertake a diversity initiative, an understanding of your community’s demographics is essential, both to ensure your outreach is inclusive and to establish a baseline for your efforts. But demographics – and the ways in which Americans choose to identify themselves – are shifting rapidly, and multiple dimensions of diversity need to be considered. This webinar explores the data tools you can use to better understand the demographics of your community and use them to shape your diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
